What is the difference between a dedicated server and a shared server (VPS)?
A dedicated server provides you with all the resources (CPU, RAM, bandwidth, storage) of a complete physical machine just for your project, without sharing them with other customers. In contrast, on a shared server, several users use the resources of the same server, which can affect the performance and customization available.
How much customization do dedicated servers allow?
The dedicated servers we use are based on the R630 chassis which we offer with two Intel Xenon E5-2680 v4 units. The ram can be increased up to 1.7Tb on request, as well as the disks are available in SSD or NVMe depending on the need of the project. The servers have 8 slots for different combinations of disks and we offer the possibility to use RAID at hardware level.
Do you have a management panel for dedicated servers?
All our dedicated servers are delivered with IPMI access, which allows you to manage your machine as if you were in front of it. It allows you to install ISOs remotely as well as a noVNC console to configure whatever you need. We also offer an operating system installer over PXE for automated installations.
How is your network infrastructure?
In our data center we work with a 10GBP/s port on a 100GBP/s line to offer the highest possible stability.
All our servers include two NICs, one with two SFP+ ports at 10GBP/s and the other with 4 Ethernet ports at 1GBP/s.
Depending on your configuration, one or the other will be used, in case of need a secondary interface can be connected as failover.
What kind of technical support do you offer and what are the hours of operation?
We have specialized technical support via ticket and email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition, during business hours (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 20:00), we offer chat and phone support to solve urgent questions or help you with any incident that may arise.
